This is the place to find information on my current novels and learn about the books I have in progress. I’ll keep you updated as I move through the creative process.
I love to write horror books because there are no boundaries to get in the way of a good story. My imagination needs room to roam. I also like to explore the dark parts of the human mind where fear mixes with paranoia. It sounds creepy, but it’s fun to be bad.
I live in Chantilly, Virginia with my wife and two sons. Born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia, I spent my early years as a television, radio, and stage performer. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. In 1995, I received a Master’s Degree in Information Management from Marymount University.
After spending what seemed like a lifetime buried in corporate America as a middle manager, I started writing full time in 2003. An award-winning novelist, I have appeared on FOX & Friends on the FOX News Channel and I have appeared on many nationally syndicated radio and television shows.
I am proud to be a Southern author. There’s a lot of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers on my phone and I still get desperate cravings for warm Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I try to give readers a flavor of the people and the cultural nuances you can only find in the South.
All of my books are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBooks, and many other online retailers. My novels are also available for the Amazon Kindle, the Barnes & Noble Nook, iBooks, and many other mobile readers.
